This is a brand new site as of July 2015...to log and keep track of what I learn about using digital technology in the writing workshop, specifically web-based tools that can be used from any type of computer or device.

I began my own blogging journey in 2010 at The Poem Farm and have also been blogging at Sharing Our Notebooks since 2011.  As a writer and blogger and teacher, I am beginning to understand how the digital world can not only connect but also enliven and expand our writing and ways of expression.  This is true for adults and for students too.

To deepen my own understandings, I reached out out on Twitter and found people to be ever-generous.  I took analog notes, here on an envelope and on other scraps as well.

A Few Favorite Writing Workhsop Tech Tools

Much gratitude to Troy Hicks, author of CRAFTING DIGITAL WRITING and host of The Digital Writing Workshop Wiki for his generosity in helping me begin to navigate this big new world.  Without even knowing it, he lit my path with his paper books.

I also want to thank these teachers and explorers I admire, people who are always stretching me in new ways to learn more and explore more of this coded, connected terrain.
