Connect on Social Media: Twitter & Skype

Learn about and sign up for Twitter HERE.

Twitter is a great way to connect with all kinds of people.  From authors to other teachers, from classrooms of students to professionals in any field, from folks far away and right door, Twitter allows one to connect quickly, easily, and briefly in 140 characters.  There are Twitter chats on a variety of topics, allowing a person to participate in what is essentially a free class of people from many places, all pooling their insights on one topic.

Some people see Twitter as a frivolous way to follow celebrities.  And this is one way to use Twitter if you are so inclined.  However, there are endless things to learn in this world, and you're sure to find someone who knows what you're interested in and is willing to teach and learn with you.

  1. Twitter has become our hands into the world! Our class uses twitter to share our learning and to invite others in. Often our connections and conversations lead to amazing lessons rooted in the work of the students! Here's a link to our class blog that features an outside/inside organically grown lesson! You can find our classroom feed @Frazier1st.
